This short video inspires me if only because it combines two of my most favorite subjects: Books and Alchemy.
It would seem books of the Medieval era were produced with the aid of Alchemists. Based upon their deep understanding of how pigments were produced, they provided the various paint colors used in creating those beautiful hand illuminated manuscripts.
It’s just an alchemical world.
