The ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM

We live within a dimension permeated by the indispensable energy of electromagnetic phenomena. Using the basic World Clock mandala as a circular, multilevel matrix, the Electromagnetic Spectrum can twist along through four serpentine levels of expanding organization. Yet while various vibrations do have distinctive qualities, when any given wavelength is multiplied by it’s oscillating frequency, all waves are found to propagate through space at a maximum universal speed equal to light: Frequency times Wavelength equals the Speed of Light. To furnish a perspective of size for any given wavelength, equivalent references show the proportions of actual physical objects. Thus on the scale of our own Chromosomes and Visible Light, or our Human Bodies and Television Frequencies, common sizes are shared by both the objects and energy waves.

Waves begin by reaching out from the central Void, and follow along the first and innermost level of the spectrum. Beginning the chart with a counter-clockwise cycle suggests perhaps an emergence from a pre-existent level of manifestation. On this cycle are found all the familiar very high energy, high frequency, extremely short wavelength rays. The highest energy Cosmic and Gamma Rays are regularly used by scientist to penetrate the electron shells of atoms, often dislodging the smallest particles found contained within them. Even the somewhat longer Soft X-Rays are useful for peering into tiny slices of our DNA helix. Since both these associations of scale show a wavelength and physical size corresponding to nuclear and molecular processes, this cycle is considered an expression of the Atomic or Foundation Level.

After making the first clockwise turn up to the second level, light waves sweep over the spectrum from UltraViolet through Far InfraRed. Due to the unsurpassed contribution light makes to the life process, this cycle is recognized as the Biological Level. Mutations presently occurring in our genetic code are due in part to O-Zone depletion, allowing the exposure of delicate DNA strands to disruptive UltraViolet wavelengths. InfraRed light waves are radiated from warm living organisms, with waves averaging well within the size range of individual cells. Yet perhaps more importantly, the size range of the Visible Light wavelength is reflected within the our own Human Chromosomes. The visible colors that rise from UltraViolet, Purple and Royal Blue contain wavelengths corresponding to the shortest of the chromosomes, including the Female “Y” Chromosome. Following the spectrum along the wavelengths to the Yellow hues, within this size range are found the Male “X” Chromosome. The deep Red colors located in the longest visible wavelengths share common dimensions with the largest of our chromosomes, which because of their greater size are listed first on human genome charts. Still, within all living cells the multitude of life functions, and also surrounding environmental conditions, normally keep DNA in a semi-unwound state anyway, thus making for a rather dynamic range of chromosomal sizes.

Then twisting back counter-clockwise once again, the third level encompasses most of the energy spectrum used in electronic transmission and broadcast frequencies. Until their recent discovery, this Transmission or Transition Level had been unknown and invisible to our human senses. Beginning at wavelengths of around one millimeter, Microwaves grow longer until reaching Radar and Cellular Phone frequencies, where wavelengths range up to hundreds of millimeters in size. The primary frequencies we use in our entertainment broadcasting comprise the middle of this third level. Remember those rabbit ears found on top of TVs in the old days B.C.? (Before Cable) They were straining to pick up those weak half height waves around a meter or so long, the span of the rabbit ear antenna’s reach from tip to tip. As wavelengths become even longer still, the frequencies become correspondingly lower, continuing to fall through the military, aircraft, maritime, civil and emergency bands, finally ending up in those long and familiar AM Radio waves.

The final clockwise outer cycle concludes with the Fulfilled or Manifestation Level. Back around one last time through the vast sonic range, where our beliefs, emotions and ideas can be expressed, carried upon the medium of Sound Waves and beyond. While there is only one rainbow of Visible Light available to the naked eye, the full range of human hearing is much more expansive. Emerging from Ultra Sonic vibrations, the audible sounds available to our ears encompass frequencies that resonate with the colorful tones of the plentiful lower octaves. The lowest of these vibrations we can actually feel in our bones, and these wavelengths are so long that they are equal to the diameter of the Earth. At the very far end of the spectrum are found our longest, low frequency Brain Waves , the electro-chemical expression of our beliefs and ideas. The measured length of Brain Waves stretch far beyond the Earth, the longest Delta Waves extend so far that just a single pulse will reach out past the moon.

So what is the usefulness of arranging the Electromagnetic Spectrum in this fashion? Primarily, doing so reinforces the basis for using the four levels of organization themselves. Consider how the known spectrum is neatly divided into four groups of generally related phenomena, all wavelengths according to their own unique expression. Energy Rays, Light Waves, Transmission Bands and Sound Waves, each falling into equal parts, all corresponding to a specific range of physical manifestations. This provides a comprehensible, holistic view of the spectrum, where each level is built upon the one that preceded it.

The manner of this chart’s inclusion of Chakra Drives is more unusual, since they would normally be stretch out around the circumference of the World Clock. Yet here the Chakras rise up from the center of the spectrum, helping to illustrate the division between various electromagnetic levels. The suggested interpretation is a correlation between the Root Chakra and the founding Atomic Level, continuing on up through the Crown Chakra and connecting up with Brain Waves at the long end of the spectrum. Also important is the placement of the Chakras in relation to the other phenomena on the spectrum. One example of this harmonious relationship is the close link between visible colors and musical tones, (see fig EMS.1) and how various other aspects just coincidentally happen to line up diagonally across from the Chakras. The hidden importance of this alignment is the underlying World Clock 5/22 Chakra Drive Axis. On the World Clock, two powerful Spiritual 22 Drives are placed upon the clockwise cycles, which correspond to where visible light and the mid-range of human hearing are found on this chart. Underlying the Chakra illustration on the other side of the spectrum, the World Clock would display two extremely dynamic Ego 5 Drives. This 5/22 axis is the key to the direct connection between the animating spiritual forces of our life, and our personified physical existence. Without a connection such as this, creative inspiration would become inaccessible to the ego self, and any hope for the ego’s transcendence of this physical existence would have small chance for success.

In short, this arrangement of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, by combining elements from the World Clock, make a conceptual connection between the physical universe, energy waves, and the wondrous dimensions of psychic phenomena.

Up to the Twentieth Century, reality was everything humans could touch, smell, see, and hear. Since the initial publication of the chart of the electromagnetic spectrum, humans have learned that what they can touch, smell, see, and hear is less than one-millionth of reality. Ninety-nine percent of all that is going to affect our tomorrows is being developed by humans using instruments and working in ranges of reality that are nonhumanly sensible.
